New Battery/Clutch Friction Point?

Hi All,

I woke up Sunday to a dead Battery in my FR-S. So I got the car jumped and went to Autozone to replace the battery. Of Course I got a Battery with Twice the Power as the oem.. Just Because, "MOORE POWWER".

Now it seems My friction point on my clutch has changed. Have to give it a lot more on the gas to engage the gear. Anyone got any Ideas on this?

Thanks in advance

The friction point hasn't changed but the engine timing and such has. When the battery is disconnected the ECU loses all of the learned points it has gathered and has to start all over again. It will be back to normal after you drive a while.

^ Same thing happens when you tune the car with ECUTEK.

yeah you just got that "dead pedal"

drive it sedately for a hundred miles or so and let the ecu relearn. after that you can beat on it again
