FR-S Chassis Code
 

Everywhere I look website states that our chassis code is "ZN6", but I looked at my VIN and it said "ZNA"

I'm only curious because I wanted custom plates and I wanted it to be the chassis code, so I wanted to verify this...

FR-S: ZNA?
BRZ: ?

VIN is not the same as chassis code, it rarely is. You will find the chassis/model code on the information plates on the car.

Chassis code for 86/FR-S is ZN6, chassis code for BRZ is ZC6.

VIN for FR-S is JF1ZNA..., VIN for BRZ is JF1ZCA...

Good info, Jeff. I was wondering the same! I was trying to figure that out because the last chassis vs. VIN codes I dealt with were MA70 and JZA80. I can still rattle off my JT2MA71 VIN from memory... Nice to see a familiar face from the Supra community. I haven't been active in a while but known as Vector89T in that circle.
