has anybody tried the toyota 86's intelligent transmission. just curious if there is a difference from the brz trans.
apparently it can rev match?

Not available on the 86, designed for use in TNGA F/F cars, only Corolla for now.

It's only on the 19 Corolla Hatch and 20 Corolla, not the 86.

I tried it on the hatch 6mt once. It was a short drive. I wasn't really paying attention to the rev matching features.

my brz predicatively rev-matches.

Mine is a human active rev match.

LOL, won't this piss the purists off if it comes to the manual 86.

I don't care how anybody identifies and no reason to be surprised they are intelligent.

You can flash a tune that includes active rev matching with the BRZ's transmission.

There's the neo MR2 sorted then.

I'm more surprised when people are intelligent than otherwise :iono:
