Exhaust setup for no rasp

Okay so im running Tomei UEL catless, Tomei overpipe, Invidia Catless non resonated FP, and the 3" Greddy RS. There is a ton of rasp middle and top end, and want to have the deep rumble for most of the rpm range. I understand that sometimes you cant get rid of the rasp completely but will a Resonated front pipe or dual resonated front pipe get rid of most of the rasp? Opinions on which one please.

The answer is CATTED header and fp

How much do you think that would seriously be?

Dual resonators will most likely help, but your mileage may vary. You may have to experiment with different muffler or resonator in your exhaust as well.

Normally the bigger suitcase mufflers have deeper / less raspy tones as well.

you can go read the threads yourself, but from the research I found is once tunes catless gives you around 20-30 WHP, and catted 10-15 WHP, im also going to be supercharged so catless would be the best for power gains.

tuned*

im boosting soon so im not trying to have a catted header. im just searching for a deeper tone all the way through, im fine with a little rasp just rn its to bad. probably going with the JDL dual resonater or ultra quiet.

Ok, if you're adding FI then I understand not wanting a catted header. If you go turbo, it has a muffling effect, for what it's worth. With a supercharger... well..

I honestly might put my stock FP back on back idk how that will effect my tune, I was tuned for e85 and fully catless, Ive heard the front pipe shouldnt make much of a difference as far as a tune but idk. For NA at least

It makes almost no difference. I've been dyno tuned on both. The difference was within error range of the dyno, but the difference in daily driving and passenger comfort was huge. No longer does my wife gag when we're idling in traffic with the a/c on

Swap out the catback.

Try searching Greddy CTS v2

did he have to edit your tune? thats my maine concern i really dont wanna pay for a retune. Should i been fine without retuning once stock front pipe is installed.

Didn't bother. Af/r stayed the same, so no point. You'll want to datalog to be sure, I can't account for how your car was tuned though

Start there and see how it goes. Keep your catless header for now and see how you like the sound. There are some aftermarket catted headers out there that flow well. It's like anything else, people love to lump everything into one pile "30whp for uncatted, 15whp for catted", but it's inaccurate when comparing actual headers. Also IMHO headers are for improved torque dip and sound more than anything. It's not like going from a catted header to a non-catted header on these cars are going to make a big difference. We're talking going from a slowish car to a slightly less slowish car :D
