That is what sold me on the BRZ. Was well worth the additional cash. If the 86 was sold in the states in all Toyota colors, I would have bought the 86 with the same options as the BRZ. But went with the BRZ because it was better equipped. Are you going to keep the light up scion emblems or go back to Toyota ones?

Why trade it in if you had the headlights!? O.o

Traded it in because my whiteout was Automatic,
I wanted a Manual and i thought why would i trade it in for the exact same car with the same features? So thats why i choose the 10 Series because they will hold value better plus the color is far more rare then Whiteout which everyone in California has.

I must admit that silver ignition color is so nice. maybe better than whiteout.

Was ur ex stock when you traded her in?

Yes it had some upgrades but manly stock, Only upgrades it had were (TRD Spoiler, Mud Guards, Wheels, and leather interior.

Alright so Since before i got my car i have been in love with the way your white frs was stanced, i really wanted to know the exact specs of your bbs lm's. where the staggered or square. and also do you think with eibach pro springs that you could do track days with them. my car is going to be setup for the daily driving but i do want to to do some track days (maybe like 3 or 4 a year)

Thanks man I appreciate it, I do miss the white color from time to time. I would be willing to share them, they are "Square" and the specs are 19x8.5 +25. Yeah I believe you could use them during track days but I would be more worried about (Heat Issues, Brake Issues) more then suspension. If I was you I would ditch buying springs first and save up some money for a coil-over system. I personally love my new setup with KW Variant 3's but they aren't for everyone given the price tag

no prob man. i think I'm going to go with bc racing, and yea the kw's but they are way out of my price range I'm only 19 haha. i just saw how good your car looked with the springs and it made me think twice.

NICE CAR!!!! can you provide me information for how the side skirts are installed? Does it require any drilling? I'm planning on getting this kit in FRP then paint matching it to the color of my car.

CanibeatNoel 01-09-2014 10:40 PM

This is fucking amazing.

I actually had my kit installed professionally at a car shop, i would highly recommend it because if they mess up or the install is not perfect then they will reinstall it for free & the rear valiance needs some modification from what i noticed it only has 1 bolt and double sided tape holding it on and it needed to be modified and drilled to fit another bolt to securely hold it in place but the second bolt is not noticeable to the naked eye unless i point it out

Touge Factory 01-13-2014 07:54 PM

so clean.

PEWPEW 02-18-2014 04:36 PM

Hey man, I've been following your build since like forever and I really need your opinion right now. How's the Tomei type 80? More specifically, how's the in cabin noise? Too much drone? Does it get irritating? How loud is it on a scale from 1 - 10? Is it straight pipe loud? In combination with the FT86 Catted Header, does it sound quieter inside the cabin or does it sound worse (more drone)? I ask all this because I'm like on the verge of trading my cat back for one.
PS. I can tolerate loud and some drone, incase you say something like "everyone has different loudness/volume tolerances." lol

The Tomei type 80 in my opinion is the best exhaust on the market for the twins, beautiful sound, no drone, super lightweight (You will shred like i believe it was 30lbs or 25lbs from your car with that exhaust alone) loud probably a 7 out of 10 (without silencer, it comes with a silencer i just dislike the way it looks and never installed it) its not loud unless you drive like a manic or push the car past 4k RPM, Not straight pipe loud, just more loud then stock. Like i stated before, with the combination of the Tomei Type 80 and FT86 Catted UEL header their is no drone, it doesn't sound quieter in the cabin because you are opening up the exhaust so their will be more noise apparent. I used to run a cat back, it was a Injen SES it had a lot of drone and was heavy!!, After buying this exhaust Im never going back to a dual tip catback unless its an AMUSE Powerhouse one.
