Exhaust Smell

First off I apologize if this isn't in the right spot not 100% how to use the forum just yet.

Anyway, I recently started smelling ALOT of exhaust after WOT or interstate driving, I would come to a stop and the smell would flood the car (Only if I had the windows down). I have not noticed a drop in power or any other performance issues outside of the smell. I recently changed my down pipe and mid pipe exhaust gaskets, neither seemed to be the issue. Would it be possible that it is another gasket or a larger issue?

Vortech supercharger, JDL UEL header, Catback exhaust.

Thanks for any help! and sorry for being a noob

Double check all of the gaskets. Even without a problem I always smell exhaust after coming to a stop. It's a catless thing for the most part.

Catless exhausts stink. That stink is why cats were invented in the first place. It used to happen to every car on the road before emission control systems and is not something I miss by any stretch. You smell it more when coming to a stop because the stink cloud is moving forward at the same speed as the car that is producing it. When you brake the cloud keeps moving forward even though the car has stopped. Roll up the windows before coming to a stop.

I also want to add that if you have one of those backfire tunes, have them fix it. It just retards the exhaust valve timing on decel and will add to this significantly.

Recheck all gaskets? Even manifold and header?
