How different are the bumper and headlight brackets?
 

Hey Everyone,

I recently replaced my 2014 FRS front bumper with a 2017 BRZ bumper.

The top sides (near the side markers) don't even think about going in. Pics:

I can push them in, but they just slide right out.

I had purchased bumper clips for the 2017 bumper but they looked identical to the ones on the car so I returned them. Now im wondering if I didn't pay too close of attention. Does anyone know?

I'm also wondering if its something in the headlight bracket that isn't letting the bumper in all of the way. Does anyone know if I can use a 2017 BRZ headlight bracket? Although now that I say that, I'm wondering then if I'll need new headlights... ahhh the rabbit hole.

Yes i believe you will need the headlight bracket as well.

Yes youll need the front headlight gaskets and some other stuff, here is a youtube video for the process and part numbers. Hope that helps!
