Enkei TSV

I'm a TC105n fan but my wallet (and my wife) say no....

Anyone got the weight specs on the new 17" Enkei TSVs?

They're a gorgeous substitution and if they've got some good concavity to them and low weight... But I gotta know the weight before I just go spend 900 bucks on new wheels.

Have you emailed Enkei and asked?

These are the weights I found on tire rack.

Rota Titans look like weds. They are also light weight compared to the enkei wheels. A lot of guys are running them. And, I have not heard anything bad about the titans quality specifically.

I'd look at the Konig Dekagram, if you want TC105N style while being cheaper and still light. 17x8 are just under 17lbs and 17x9 are just over.

You can get a set of 17x8 on DiscountTire for $678. Wait until they have one of their sales and you should be able to get $100 off that too.

I'd lean towards the Konig as well, if only because it uses a +40 offset instead of a +45, which means the Konig wheel won't appear as sunken into the fender as the Enkei does. There's also the fact that they're a fair bit cheaper and lighter and I haven't heard anything bad from people running them.

If you really like the tc105n, just save up for a few months, ur probably going to have them for a few years, why not get the ones you really like?

Shit. None of these have teddy bears.

I love the style except that the 17x9 doesn't come in the B face, which is more concave.

If those are $900, just save a bit more and wait for some used TC105Ns to show up. They usually go for ~$1300 used.

Idk about you, but getting a cheaper substitute to fulfill that instant gratification usually doesn't end up being very satisfying as opposed to waiting to get what I truly want. Buy it cheap, buy it twice.

Titans are 17x9 +42 and weigh 18.5lbs each. YOu can get a set shipped to you for just under $800.

Is saving 3lbs per wheel (and a flat face) worth the extra $$$? If yes, then get WEDs; they are better wheels.

If no, then think about getting some decently light weight wheels that looks like what you want and are concave.
