My bestfriend is an expert in 3D designs he could send you his work he's done for me. He basically did a FRS for me. He can maybe sell his project for a very small amount or customize it in your needs for extra $$ :D

Mikeez, I may have a need for a custom 3D rendering if you can check with him and let me know how pricing would work? I would like to have the image in the next week or so. I can PM you more info if needed.

What's the end goal? I know 3Dwarehouse has lower poly models for display and such but if you want a real accurate model, I've found a site that has a pretty accurate model for free which includes individual models of the parts too. I've forgetten which site but if you really need the higher poly model, I'll make the effort to look through my history and such.

EDIT: Found it. GrabCAD. I've used some people's models for other client projects. Site has some pretty accurate models.
3DWarehouse for more content but usually lower poly.

I'm just trying to come up with a basic rendering for a proposal. I need a couple of aftermarket items added to get the end goal across. Front and rear bumper, trunk and some how's modifications.

I'm wondering if any of those have a really good rendering of the underside?
I'm looking to design an aero piece concept and I'd like the underside to be as accurate as possible.

Anyone have a STEP, IGES, or Parasolid file? ie something useful for CAD, and not just a faceted body.

Did anyone ever get you a 3D model file?

I actually need something as well, mainly a decently accurate model of the rear bumper and stock exhaust, preferably '15, but I know this is an old thread.

Anything not filled in, I could probably measure it myself and model it into Solidworks. Would really help if I could start somewhere.

Thinking about doing a small project.

If I recall correctly, a vendor was selling 3d models. You probably need to do a search in the forum, but I remember seeing it.

What did you search on grabcad? I looked this morning and didn't find anything

Anyone ever find anything for free? I want to 3D print a mini model. Solidworks preferred.

I don't mean to resurect a dead post but here is my FRS model. There is one part of the wiper cowl I still want to finish modeling.

It's not stock FR-S, it's custom model, but hey it's free. :w00t:

Resurrecting this thread from the dead. I downloaded the model above ages ago and have been slowly reverting it to a stock 10-Series, since that's what I own. I'm native to Maya but I've been transitioning to Blender and not looking back. I plan on using it as a visualization tool, add the mods I've done to my car, and mods I'd like to do to see how they'd look before committing. Still have some work to do, but here it is so far:
