I believe this is the best priced 86 on the market today. It is still virtually new. Never been in an accident, never had an error code. No liens of any sort. Only owner - bought brand new. Never smoked in

Reason for selling - I have been transferred for work and unable to take the car with me. So I either store it for years - or sell it virtually new. Have decided to sell so I need to make it happen quickly. This website was a wealth of information when I was trying to purchase the car and hopefully one of you folks will buy it and give it the love it deserves.

GLWS - too bad my American arse can't purchase a Canadian vehicle to own in the US.

Actually I think Americans can buy used Canadian vehicles. Whenever our dollar drops relative to the US dollar, American dealerships come to Canada and purchase a lot of used vehicles and make a fortune on the exchange. Don't know the process on importing, but there must be some way to do it.

Thats just importing it. Titling and registering it is an even bigger pain. The burden of proof is on you to prove that the car meets all US emissions and safety standards.

And after all that, you still have a car that reads in Km

Love the car, love the color, and its a great deal, but the car should probably stay in Canada unless you are experienced at this sort of thing and have the documentation or have channels to get it.

Hey guys - I now have a certificate of compliance from Toyota if anyone from the states is interested in purchasing. Also, the digital speedometer easily switches between km and miles

I'm car shopping right now but I don't know anything about importing. What does the Certificate of Compliance from Toyota do?

Price is definitely a steal. Seems like you'd do better just selling it to a dealership?
