2013 Scion FR-S FS 36K miles, $14,000 OBO located in Katy TX
SOLD
Car has pretty much been used for track duty and weekend driving since I've owned it (3+ years), it's no show car currently but it's not a dog either. Title in hand, motivated to sell as is, really don't want to part out. Has front bumper sag as well as a few small dings which I've tried to point out in pictures. I have thoroughly enjoyed owning this car - in fact it's the longest I have ever owned a car - but I yearn for more power and have another project waiting in the wings. 2013 Scion FR-S 36K miles Manual transmission Valve spring recall performed 2/18/2019 Oil changed 2/18/2019 New battery 2/18/2019 Perrin oil cooler Perrin cat back Rev Works UEL catless header Schroth rallye anti-submarine 4 point harnesses (driver & passenger) Bilstein B6 shocks <1K miles (stock shocks come with car) RCE yellow springs Raceseng CasCam plates <1K miles SPL Rear LCA <1K miles Ingalls front camber bolts Enkei RPF-1 17X9 +35 in gold Hankook Ventus RS-3 245/40/17 (less than 2,000 miles, 5 track days and 20+ heat cycles) StopTech slotted front rotors (stock rotors come with car) Carbotech XP10 brake pads (all corners, stock & StopTech will also come with car) ATE DOT4 fluid SRP accelerator pedal cover eBay front lip eBay rear diffusor LED running lights GrimmSpeed hood struts GrimmSpeed front license plate holder GrimmSpeed master cylinder brace Stock wheels (powdercoated black) and stock tyres come with car Alpine head unit https://i.imgur.com/Tx9N2ae.jpg https://i.imgur.com/vEhymBr.jpg https://i.imgur.com/oEQIpgw.jpg https://i.imgur.com/c51dGuc.jpg https://i.imgur.com/casgPPa.jpg https://i.imgur.com/edrGqNq.jpg https://i.imgur.com/43XZbyu.jpg https://i.imgur.com/gPVDL8h.jpg https://i.imgur.com/40z65WX.jpg https://i.imgur.com/UXLXd7f.jpg https://i.imgur.com/KagvPua.jpg https://i.imgur.com/m3xmPvd.jpg https://i.imgur.com/29joglA.jpg https://i.imgur.com/hoSkb83.jpg https://i.imgur.com/FkhfJ9p.jpg https://i.imgur.com/ZwhWxas.jpg https://i.imgur.com/QikjwgN.jpg https://i.imgur.com/ynaOWAh.jpg https://i.imgur.com/od7Fjs7.jpg |

Hello UFO,
I have a few questions for you... When did you purchase this vehicle and at what mileage? I assume you are the second owner? What is the title status? Clear and no liens? Does the vehicle have any accident history or body work/paint work? All original? How is the clutch and throw out bearing? Did you sort out your alignment and car pulling issue for the previous year? What was the root cause? Any other imperfection besides the one on the rear bumper? Thanks in advance. Cheers! Will |

Clear Texas title, it's sat in my safe ;). There was no damage reported on the CarFax when I bought it, it has not seen any paint since I bought it. Engine was out for recall 2/18, was advised clutch was fine. Alignment was a toe issue IIRC, car was aligned again in December last year by a local race shop and has been behaving much better, the return to center is fine now too (ot I just got used to it?). Yes, there are more imperfections but for some reason they don't photograph well with this white paint. You cans see some large rock chips behind the license plater, there's a small crease in the lower lip of the front bumper, small ding on hood caused by rock and a little ding on the passenger rocker panel where I dropped a wrench on it. Front driver fender near the door is also, ermmm, thin? If you press too hard it flexes. Like I said, she ain't perfect unfortunately but you do have to look for the imperfections for the most part. |
UFO - when you say "Front driver fender near the door is also, ermmm, thin? If you press too hard it flexes" - is this compared to the passenger fender? The sheet metal should be same thickness and quality - are you thinking the driver fender was replaced prior to your ownership?
Do you know how to tell if a panel was repainted/body work and/or not original? Thanks again! |

Hi UFO - when you say "been dinged with 'something'" - you believe it was repaired thus repaired and not as strong as the passenger fender?
Also, I am sending you a PM to discuss other details etc. |

Yes these cars aren't American or German sheet metal. Very thin to save weight and cost. So can you see any imperfection or bend on the driver fender? |
