I'll weigh in. I hate the name "Delicious Tuning." It's just... terrible.
I don't know anything about their products or service. I just hate their name. |

@Krewcial5050 @DeliciousTuning You already proved in a past post that you're "new to cars" and you've also only been involved in this community for around 3 months so I'll try to be nice as possible. You also need to understand how the world works because you sound kind of clueless and young with this as well. I've also pinged delicious to this thread so they can possibly explain the QC process and how marks got past them. I have an OFT, but even I know delicious is well known and hasn't had any huge screw ups in the past, maybe back when the forums started but they seemed to get their shit together. 1) It's one thing if a company legitimately stole your money and didn't respond for weeks. However in under a month they have fixed their mistakes, and you have a product again. Niche products like this aren't like amazon or other companies that have the infrastructure to just next day air when they have an issue or keep up with heavy demand like the 2 day shipping deal. They probably had already shipped it out before they had a chance to upgrade it.Also with the original order they made have been super swamped with orders and unable to process your order in time hence a wait. 2) You continually say the parts are used without actually knowing how the manufacturing process works, for radius corners and holes drilled via CNC machines you tend to get burrs or rough edges as the tooling starts to wear. Those blemishes are definitely a belt sander or some abrasive used by someone in the cnc shop or building removing the burrs. It doesn't look pretty but you can't blame them for it getting through, as one in several 100 shipped is kind of acceptable. Also you have 0 basis to keep saying the parts are used with as minimal proof as you keep saying. 3) The box issue is present with TONS of auto parts companies, my box from nameless was the only one that had a company logo on it. The uel, OFT, Diode dynamics stuff just had a sticker slapped to it. Also for shipping time you gotta count the process/handling time and make sure you don't include any weekends as those aren't business days. Once again they aren't amazon so they aren't churning stuff out 24/7 and fulfilling stuff. I'm not defending them, nor have I ever used there products. But you really aren't helping your case here and have yet to get the full story from delicious. |

First of all. I work on logistic for a medical company. So dont try to lecture me on how shipping works. I myself know the importace of any packages being on time. It is frustrating to most of the customers when the package is delayed. As far as order works... you dont need to be amazon giants to process your order on time, specially when you've been communicating with your customer thru email and told your customer it will be ship the following day which didnt happened. After all this bullshit that happened. I was able to talked to Nazar(Zach's replacement) he send the replacement via 2nd day and manage to give me the wrong hose even though it told him on the phone that i ordered Mk1+, he even asked for the order number. He said hes going to ship the "MK1+" today i asked him. Is it going to ship out via NDA SaT Del. He sounds like he dont know what to say and have no clue on how shipping works. So i walk him through. I told him that as long as he created the label via UPS/FeDEx Next Day Air sat del and drop it off before 6p.m it will be delivered on time. Let me know if you have somethin to say? |
I'm truly stunned someone this stupid and evil actually exists. I'm just waiting for you to say something stupid and evil enough to get yourself banned.

Wasn't there another thread fairly recently wondering why folks don't seem to be as active here as in the past?
Ladies and gentlement, I present.... exhibit one... THIS thread. |

Why put them on blast when they are trying to make it right? Whenever people are involved, the possibility of screw ups is present.

From what I can tell:
Zach handled this order. Zach resigned. Order was delayed in shipping after Zach left. The hose is damaged but everything else looks new. Shortage of manpower probably resulted in the mixup afterwards on replacement parts. (Before you accuse me of needing glasses, perhaps better photos will show where the part is used. I can't see a single thing...) As for the whole "let me walk you through how to ship UPS", you may think you're right (and you probably are) but the attitude you present makes it difficult to work with you in any meaningful capacity. Good luck with your new "used" kit. |
This story reminds me of the time, when I had just started my after retirement career in real estate. I had this walk in client (a pretty young girl) that was turning into be a pain in the ass. She was an ex real estate agent and figured she knew it all.
After several days of showing her houses, I decided she was just wasting my time. I made an appointment with her to meet at our office and explained to her that "I thought she would be better off being represented by a different agent". She screamed at me "you can't fire me!". I told her, I just did! Yep, that's the "10%" of customers, I didn't need in my life anymore. :D humfrz |

Maybe I should just let this die, but the only fact here that really matters here is that the hose OP received was damaged. All the other parts look normal and fine. OP did mention that Delicious sent him a new hose to replace the broken one, but said that it was a an MK1 hose and not MK1+ one. Is there a measurable difference between the two hoses? Like, is one longer than the other or a different thickness or something? I don't know the intimate details of this kit or its versions. Basically, what I want to know is whether or not the replacement part they sent you works for the intended application. Because if it does, what more do you want?

OP, why dont you just send the product back for a refund and then buy a different flex fuel kit? That way customer and provider can cut their losses and move on.
I mean how upset are you going to be when you pop the hood and see the delicious tuning logo, or any part of that particular kit. It will slowly eat you up inside until you sell the car, get rid of the kit or cause bodily harm to yourself. Alternatively something in the tune will eff up and you'll blame it all on your flex fuel kit and try to keep dragging their name through the mud. Just my .02, but you seem like the type of internet personality to dwell on things. |

I have not been on here in a while but have tried to make an effort to spend a bit more time on checking in. It does seem a lot of our customers have spoken up for us and I do appreciate that from the community.
Also I am not going to read through this entire thread as I literally do not have the time. So I apologize for missing anything here. We did send you a new kit and not sure why there is still a complaint... :iono: People that are respectful and helpful I will go out of my way for, because they are the customers I appreciate and want to work with. I recently had a veteran come in, it was great speaking with him about his vehicle and what he would like to accomplish with it. He was incredibly genuine & respectful, so I felt obliged to take the time out of my day because he gave his time for our country. There is no greater deed to this county! :thanks: So if you would like to send your kit in for a full refund, please do so and I will have this thread deleted as part of the agreement of sending the kit back. You can keep the shirt. :) Respectfully, William Knose Master Tuner Owner @ Delicious Tuning |
