Pretty dam awesome i have to say! Easily the best bang for the buck mod, the idle seems alot smoother so far and a much better 3-5k range. Only drove it a bit but ill update as i get more miles on it.

Exhaust also sounds a bit louder but i could be going crazy.

Going to order the e85 tune this week as well.

Time to visit the dealer

That noise is definitely not good and not typical, I agree it's definitely a good idea to take it in. Disregard what I said earlier, it's not something normal, but I really hope the dealer can diagnose the issue and remedy it.

Appears I've run into the first dealer flash update.

Sending the rom to EcuTek so they can add support !

Attempted to do the flash , thanks John and Josh but encountered issues with the newer ECU version I got to fix my CEL issues 2k miles ago. John is looking at the dump file and will update the thread, thanks again for the help!

What would be really interesting to see is if anyone with the CEL issues could flash this new ROM you guys encountered and see if that resolves their issues.

So far from what I've seen, I don't believe anyone has reported having issues with a flashed ECU. Might save folks a lot of time and frustration.

Yeah, I guess it bears repeating on every page of this thread:

there is a list, let the man work, he'll get to you!

The more you bug him, the more the rest of us have to wait ;)

So I installed the flash on my BRZ AT. The car growls at around 3k now instead of 4k that it used to. Also the note of the growl changed, it sounds a lot louder now.

Although I noticed the gas pedal is not as responsive anymore, it takes like 1/4 to 1/2 of an inch of pressing the pedal to get the car moving. I'm not sure if the car just needs to relearn (I only drove it like 10 miles tonight). I'm hoping this is not a side effect of the tune

Quite the opposite, I used to be able to feather the gas pedal to move the car, now I have to mash it a bit, which is not good
