No, doesn't sound like that. Much more time between the peaks & valleys. :(

sorry for the noob question. what is the difference between the new throttle map vs old throttle map?

i tried to find the answer to this on the support site but couldn't find anything.

The new throttle mapping is less aggressive and gives the driver more control of the throttle body.

Some have reported better gas mileage because part throttle isn't over commanding the throttle body
