Superspeed Wheels?

Anyone running superspeed wheels or have any experience with them?

https://www.super-speed.ca/

The RF03RR looks good, is lightweight and fairly cheap at <$1000 for a set...

18 x 9.5 +40 at 18.7 lbs

Can't find a thread on the forums or reddit about these wheels... I might be a guinea pig.

What do guys think?

Wheels are wheels.
The price you pay are the price you think that are worth. Or how much of chump the seller thinks you are.

I had them for a winter set on my FK8 Civic Type R. Worked real well and a bargain for flow formed wheels.

They are nice looking wheels. ( They look like a Rota T2R, or??? )

Sub 19lbs is fairly light weight for a wheel of that size.

I just received my set of flow formed RF03RR 18x8.5 +35 matte grey. I'll be running a square setup on TRD lowering springs (Eibach pro kit).

I still haven't received my Halo 86 yet, but it should be here in a couple of weeks (the wait is killing me!!)

Anyway, I spent the last two weeks reading threads to find the perfect fitment. I was looking for lightweight, affordable and good looking (in that order) wheels that I could use daily without any issues with rubbing or clearance. I was about to order the 720form GTF2... And then I found THOSE!!!

They are made for the twins, it's obvious. Just five holes with 5x100 and curvy lines that fit the car perfectly IMO. The look is very close to the ZE40 and my 18x8.5 are only 18.1 lbs(actually 18.2 , but close enough to put the blame on my bathroom scale).

Since I'm in Montreal and Superspeed a Canadian company, they arrived in 3 days with no shipping fees!! They also offer the RF03RR in 18x9.5 for those who want the staggered setup.

I'll be posting photos as soon as I receive my 86 and I'll tell you more about being the guinea pig...

Some wheels break much easier than others. Some are lighter than others. Lightness + strength is generally more expensive. There are differences.

That said, I have 3 sets of OEM, and fuck the aftermarket!

Really digging the Superspeed SS02GTSP's. 17x9 38offset.

Just want to know the wheel weights, might be a decent alternative to RPF1's.

a lot of "borrowed" designs I see

I wanna give them a try. The mere fact they are VIA certified to be JWL is quite impressive. More so is being a fraction of a cost to comparable specs like that of Enkei's & they're most likely made in the same factory as well as there's only a handful of wheel manufacturers in the world.

Looks like they are almost a direct competitor to Konig Hypergrams. Flowformed similar weight wheels at about the same price.

So as a two time Fast Wheels owner with no complaints I am looking at these. I really am interested also in the Apex 17x9 ET35, but I am okay with supporting a Canadian brand with something a little different. Also, the size and look works.https://www.super-speed.ca/post/rf06...zes-are-coming

I really do wish there were more reviews though.

For street use these wheels are fine.
A friend has a set of RF03RR and they look great. I believe they were powder coated a custom color.
Some photos I've snapped over the years.

Friend of mine uses them on his time attack car. So far so good, very light and strong enough (he has 4-5 days of use on them, but no cracked or bent wheel so far).
