I'm very much a fan. Planning on taking the BRZ out for some RallyX events this year myself!

Big tuna, Thanks for watching. The BRZ platform out performs the wrx and sti in many cases at rallycross because of it's agility. Going from a stand still kinda sucks, but once your moving and can link all the turns successfully its game on. Be sure to post up the photos and videos! Do you have instagram? mine is instagram.com/subtledriver

Yes, if autoX has taught me anything, its definitely that this is a car that needs to keep it's momentum up. I'm excited to try it out on dirt.

I do have an instagram, and am a follower of yours. Mine is instagram.com/b_kersch.

cool I'm gonna follow you back! Thanks for checking out the video and helping with the view count! I would appreciate it if you helped share the video. unfortunately, fake wheel, stretched tires and rocket bunny kits get all the attention.

Very much love this. People think I'm nuts for driving my car through snowstorms here in Vermont, but honestly, the car handle wonderfully and responds to input much better than my old WRX did. The hard part as you said, is getting your momentum up from a stand still. I know my butt clenches when I hit a stop light on an incline with 6"+ of snow under me.

Do you run sleeves over the coils to help with rocks causing binding? I'm swapping my diff to the 3.73 and I think this will help as well since first is too short and induces wheel spin really easily, have you considered this to see if the longer ratio helps?

Please follow forum rules and post pic of trophy or @ichitaka05 will delete thread.

Whats up man! I'm not on here or forums much. I didn't see a rule about trophies? hahaha are you trolling or is that for real? :iono:

There aren't enough large rocks for coil binding to be a concern. But you do bring up a good point, do you know of any coil covers for stock coils?

As for the gear ratio, at this particular course and surface, I would have preferred a shorter final drive for 2nd gear to be ideal. I get a little bog below power band. The course was super tight, only a few feet of clearance in corners (to reduce course rutting). But at the last event I attended at a different location, the course surface was not so slippery and fluffy, it was more packed and grippy, and I was able to maintain higher speeds through the corners and won the class overall! As for snow, I dont have a whole lot of experience, as I live and race mostly in SoCal. 1st gear seems to be just right for most of what I do here. again. havent experianced snow. but sounds about right.

I don't know off hand any that are designed for stock, certainly you could Frankenstein something using velcro and elastic strings to sinch the ends so it's not slipping around. Go to army surplus and get a tent, cut it and sew sleeves with it! Or find something in Kevlar....

You'd be a pretty good candidate for these when they come out. :)
