Can you elaborate on this, please? What did you observe if you ran a different weight of oil (5w30)?

0w20 is the factory recommendation for oil, even says it on the oil cap. i was just making a mental note.

i have only used 0w20

as i turns out, some people run a slightly thicker oil if they are forced induction because they expect their oil to run hotter.

Yes, we are aware 0w20 is the factory recommendation and also thanks for pointing out that it even says it on the oil cap - what brilliant insights.

Purpose of the question was to find out if you had experienced anything different from what others with forced induction and 5w30 have reported.

When you initially said that you had made a mental note to use 0w20, it made it sound like you had tried a different weight and something went wrong...hence, my inquiry.

today i installed SPL RLCA, and ruined my car, lol, temporarily. few weeks ago i put in the FA500 coils, no problems, but those in conjunction with the 1 inch drop from the rLCA on low settings, the toe is visibly ~10* out on each rear wheel. so if you are doing coils and lca, dont even bother going in there without doing toe arms at the same time. i already knew this, but didnt think it would be THIS bad. its bad, undriveable, im telling you. realistically, i could have got 1.5 inch out of the coils and 1.5 inch out of the rlca, so i very well could be down 3 inches. this thing is lowww. stance v2 rLCA drop you 2.36 inch, and these are much less agressive, but i dont doubt that they could drop me 1.5 inch(38mm)
so looks like im biking to class this week.
