More pics to come and I'll also let you know about the radio reception.

Eagerly awaiting more pics and reception update...

Update: I'll post more pics tonight, but I just wanted to give a quick update regarding reception. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend this antenna to anyone who regularly listens to radio. The reception was clearly diminished a lot. I sometimes listen to one Philly station (104.5), and on my drive into Philly today I left that station on the entire time. The HD radio kicked on and off probably 20+ times. Once I got closer to Philly, it was pretty solid, but still dropped in and out a few times.

Now, I think this has happened a couple times even with the stock antenna, but I really don't listen to radio very much, so I'm not sure. It was certainly much worse with the spline antenna.

So should you get this antenna? Well apart from looks, it all depends on how much you use the radio and how strong the signal will be in your area for the stations you like. Since I don't listen to the radio very much at all, I'll probably keep the spline on the car. If it turns out to be annoying in real world use, then it'll have to go.

Pics to come shortly...I think it does look pretty good.

Just wanted to add my semi-blurry phone pic to the mix:

Reception is a bit worse, however it works for the most part. Reception gets noticeably worse when under extra long bridges, etc. Overall, I think it's worth it.

Can anyone who purchased/using this 1.5 shorty antenna confirm if radio reception is affected?

There seems to be mixed reviews. Thanks for any advice!
