Nice shorty antenna for $10
 

I thought I'd try and save some folks here a little money who want a shorty antenna but don't care to pay extra for branding.

^This is the shorty I bought last year for $10 to put on my Tiguan which I traded, and it fit perfectly on my BRZ.

I'd bet the other, longer lengths for VW fitment that this guy sells would work too if you didn't want a 1.5" antenna. Sorry, I haven't done any reception testing between stock and this one, but it does pick up the radio perfectly! Hope this helps someone!

That looks good. I think I'm going to have to give that one a try as I don't like the shark fin antennas and rolling around with a $30 antenna is scary since it's so easy to jack. Thanks for posting!

Can you tell me if you notice any difference in GPS reception, radio reception etc after a few weeks of use? If everything works as usual (I'm guessing it will) then I'm definitely going to order one. Thanks for the link and info!

It says it doesnt work with satellite or gps??
Can anyone confirm?

My satellite radio works fine even in my garage. Gps antenna is separate and up under the dash. No worries.

When a bunch of you get this I want to hear some more reviews. Tried to get a cheaper one online, but a different one, and the reception was very mediocre so I ended up switching back.

I ordered one. I'll report back if I have any issues. So, if you don't hear from me. Buy one. lol
