Looks like Vancouver threads in this section are dead, so let's try this one in its own thread.

Anyone from the Lower Mainland area have any experience with Garage Five yet? Online reviews seem to be great, but just wanting to hear from 86 owners if you and/or others you know have any experience with major jobs at this shop? i.e. turbo installs, bushing overhaul, etc?

Also, would they able to do a full alignment after a coilover install or are there other shops in the area you'd recommend for alignment post-suspension overhaul?

I've bought some things through them years ago. Decent place, usually just MSRP. Never had any service done at G5. Phone support was ok. I value an open environment and genuine customer service and it just wasn't my place. It's not hard to relate with someone or share something of interest (uhh.. cars.?) Typical walk in, maybe get a "Hey, "know what you want?" I try to avoid these types of places unless I know exactly what I need and have to go Brick and Mortar. With a lot of end consumers going online, It forces Brick and Mortar to come up with some type of competitive advantage so maybe things have improved.

Would be worth asking on the FT86 club vancouver group. I've personally never used Garage 5.

I got all my suspension and alignment work done at Dales Auto in Surrey. They are a club sponsor so will offer a small discount. No complaints!
