2017+ STi Short Shifter (US Spec) fits all models 2013+
 

After a ton of searching I couldnt find concrete evidence of if the new 2017+ BRZ STi shifter fit older models.

I installed it on my 2013 BRZ Limited with no issues.

I received a 500$ coupon from Subaru towards anything so I grabbed the STI shifter and red footwell illumination kit (I got 20% off).

The install was smooth and there is a noticeable difference in throw distance. Not a ton but just enough to feel better. The shift knob dropped just about 1cm in height.

The only install snafu is that the rubber dust boot is a pain in the ass to install.

I seriously came in here thinking you meant WRX STi short shifter. wowweeezzz. Nothing changed in the transmission since the cars inception, I don't see why it wouldn't fit. Thank you for testing :)
