What mods are you talking about?

Tcoat 02-04-2019 04:22 PM

Depends upon the verbiage of the lease turnover. I would think you would be screwed though since you probably signed off on the car as it was.

Call a local lawyer who specializes in automotive cases and get a consult on the matter. The laws vary region by region, and interpretation of those may even vary from case to case. Asking on here will get you 20 different answers with a decently probability of 0 of them being relevant to your specific situation.

Why did you edit your original post? The whole point of forums is for members to post and share experiences so that other members can learn from them.

Same.

Let's not be selfish here and only post to take contributions for ourselves and then delete everything.

Just gonna take it to a dealer and hopefully they don't mind. Probably just need a new harness or something. Winter was terrible this year, the cold might have shorted something.

For those interested, my original question was basically: If I took over a lease and the cars mods were not fully disclosed and something happened to the vehicle related to said mod, who's responsibility is it and would I be able to do anything?

Cheers
