You'd be surprised how much room there is inside these things. I'm 6'2" and it's easy. The guy I bought it off is 6'7".

I wonder why he sold it? I had a loaner Mini for a week once. I was immensely happy to turn it back in. Fitting inside is quite different from being comfortable, and I'm just 6'. The worst was getting in and out. It killed my knees.

Also I think the ride on the Works minis is just brutal. But it's cute and it handles well.

When people tell me my car is cute.

Yep, ran it hard for three years. It's a great car for autocross, especially with a few subtle mods.

Interesting. This is our second Mini (we had a Cooper S for a few years), and I've never had an issue. I'll admit that getting in and out can be a challenge. Just goes to show that YMMV, I guess.

And yeah, the ride is hard, for sure. But I have a short commute on reasonable roads (by Portland standards), so I can put up with that for the fun factor.

Not proper but we have to share the road with all the yahoos that snooze their way around town.

Oooh! Sexy!

Wait, SapphicProstitute, what do you do when somebody calls your accent adorable?

Ultramaroon 02-03-2019 05:45 PM

I think the twins are cute as hell. Sports cars & go karts are cute.

Sapphireho 02-03-2019 07:56 PM

I don't have an accent.

Come to think of it, I have had someone call my accent adorable. When I was 15 I spent a day at a high school in Melbourne. Chicks loved my NorCal accent.
