My interior

Hi all,
I thought I should share a picture of my door as part of my interior redesign.
I have been working with CF for the last 10 years..a bit of a love hate relationship, yet I am still spending my spare time in garage making things for my car.

This is only the door card, but there is plenty other small little things I have done inside. I will make a dedicated post with all the stuff that I have done so far. Hint: not one single part inside is not modified, done is alcantara or carbon fiber.

With the exception of the CF bit, I had a friend who decked out the back of his panel van pretty much the same.

Must be a nice place to be in every day. I also focused on my interior mostly, but I lack scratch building skills, especially when it comes to upholstery etc, so I'm limited to what the aftermarket offers.

quality of work and materials looks great. Might be too busy though would have considered making the CF areas the same as the black alcantara.

I speak from experience and have redone my corvette interior 3 times. Tried to eventually tone it down with just leather/alcantara and some CF accents.

Did you drill into your armrest?

It looks too 'womanly'

Carbon work looks absolutely stellar. I see you have a bunch of other carbon work done to the inside of the car. Would you mind showing us?? It's really nice to see something new on here.

Thanks guys. The whole theme is hexagon hence the hex stitching and hex carbon in some areas. I have been quite dissapointed with the looks of the interior and wanted something a bit nicer. Thought I will go black, but changed my mind and went red and few more bits and pieces. I love pagani, so I took some of the inspiration from their cars. Will post more pics soon

As I promised here are some more pics of the actual interior. There are some bits in pieces that are still in the works, but you get the picture. I am not really that far from finishing the whole god damn thing as I am tired of spending time in garage every damn weekend...who am i kidding..I love it.

Ha! I definitely see the Pagani influence especially around the instrument binnacle

dhuang 02-04-2019 03:55 AM

I see the Pagani-ness too. Nice! :D

so did you decide that hexagonal carbon weave would be too much?

Saw the interior in another thread and definitely thought: Pagani.

Actually there are couple of bits and pieces inside done in this weave. Speaker cover, roof panel. I love it, but there are a fair few bits in the car that are quite small, not really allowing the weave to show.
