Luckily, I live is a big city and use 93 octane, though it bugs me if I have to put 92 in. I also seem to be able tell if the gas is a bit subpar. The engine is a bit more sluggish. I just try and fill up at the same gas station down from my house. I don't like having to run around looking for the best prices...

Diesel gets better MPG, I'm switching to that. Screw what the owner manual says.
