Recall service at 65k miles

Hey everyone, i'll be taking my car in for the recall with about 65k miles on it. I'm going to have my spark plugs and TOB changed at that time as well. Would it be worth it to have any other things replaced at that time?

Check your manual and see what else is recommended at that interval.

Forgive my ignorance, but what is a TOB? My appointment is this weekend and the car has 130k miles. I changed the spark plugs and serpentine belt at 120k, anything else I should have them replace?

Like ol @Leonardo spelled out TOB = Throw Out Bearing = release bearing.

(it's a part of the clutch system)

If your car has an automatic transmission, it doesn't have one.

If your car has a manual transmission, I suggest you ask them to replace it with the NEW improved version.

Ah, thanks guys. I didn't think about the crappy throw out bearing; that damn thing crapped-out about 10k back so I had the clutch done.

I dropped my car off at the dealership this a.m.; got a Camry for the next 10 days.

Ahhhh - but you just get used to that nice, quiet, soft riding machine - :D

While it was quiet and I didn't feel every bump in the road, that ECO Mode is nuts. You can't turn it off and there is a 1-2 second delay when you press the throttle trying to merge before you get out of the ECO mode to get going.

Kind of like being in the torque dip with the twin when you push on the gas ??

See, our cars have an "ECO mode" also -

It's worse in the Camry. I looked it up and it was only in the 2018 MY so far and there have been numerous complaints on their forums and other people are considering a lawsuit.

My friend who has an earlier Camry even hates it.

I did like how roomy it was too.
