Auto door lock not working after component speakers install

First time posting so please be kind. I just installed component speakers in front doors and dash and now the auto door lock doesn't work. If I recall correctly the doors lock and unlock when I use the push button start. The door lock switches work and so do the touch lock/unlock with the smart key. Its a manual transmission. I could be just losing my mind, can any 2019 owners confirm that the doors do auto-lock/unlock when starting and turning off the car:bonk:?

NO! We are NOT kind - especially on Sunday.

Seriously, welcome to the forum -

Since I have an older model, I have no idea.

However, you may wish to check the appropriate fuse(s).

Also, check and see what your manual has to say.

By that time, someone will be along to help you out - :)

Maybe I'm confusing it with my wife's Camry. Somehow I thought since it was a 2019, it would have it.

The camry usually locks the doors when you shift it into D, but the 86 Platform, as far as I know, has never came with auto locking doors.

Thanks for the welcome! I'll check fuses. I couldn't see anything in the manual about the doors auto-locking which is driving me nuts because I thought it did. LOL

Happy birthday!

I can remember when I was 36. Yes, I can, because that's in the "old memory" of my brain.

OK, listen up - you just get so many "brain farts" and just so many "senior moments". Now, the trick is to try NOT to use them all up before - before - before - before - what were we talking about ??- :confused0068:
