Yeah, I went ahead and registered. I was torn between taking my '91 MR2 or the FR-S, but I have a couple of small things I want to button up for tech on the MR2 to get it track ready so it's the FR-S this time! I noticed all those MR2's ... someone even has a V6 swap. That should be interesting.

Not to mentions some 2ZZ swaps and at least one turbo 2ZZ.

Our events are for fun so we are much more relaxed and have plenty of time to teach beginners. There are no competitions so you can spend the whole day learning and not worrying about who is faster or slower than you.

We have a pretty good class for beginners in the morning. It's a great introduction to the track. Best of all instructions free.

Just make sure car is full of fuel, tires have recommended air pressure and all the fluids are checked. Bring anhelmet, closed toe shoes, long cotton pants and shirt. Make sure all loose objections (book, bags, water bottles, pens, stereo boxes, etc) are taken out of the car even from the rear trunk.

If you bring an FRS you will probably be swarmed by instructors wanted to teach you.:D

We usually have MR2s show up that are a rare site on the track.

So far we have coming:

MKII v6 supercharged
MkII v6
Several MKII turbos
MKI 20v
MKIII 2zzs
MKIII 2zz turbo

We will probably get other surprises show up.

Who are allowed to do ridealongs? Advanced as well as intermediate drivers?

silversprint 08-21-2012 12:28 PM

The track has a specific policy for passengers. They say only instructors can take passengers or be passengers. In this case if the driver is an advanced driver or the passenger is an advanced driver we can allow ride a longs for "instruction purposes".
