jdl FP and perrin catback fitment

Hey all,

was wondering if there was any fitment issues with the perrin 2.5" catback and the JDL 2.5" FP.

specifically the perrin being a flange gasket and jdl using a donut gasket normally. wasn't sure if the JDL diameter would fit inside the perrin for a flush fitment for a flange gasket

i know this is probably a dumb question. sorry in advance

I don't believe so. I'm pretty sure I've seen some youtube videos of people running that setup. The factory FP runs the donut gasket but its replaced with the standard flat one when replacing the oem catback with a perrin catback.

yeah but the standard FP is 2.25" right? so it would fit right inside the Perrin. where as the JDL is 2.5". so im wondering if the outer diameter of the front pipe's extension where the donut gasket goes fits flush with the perrin so i can run the flange gasket

I'm running JDL UQ FP/OP Combo Pipe into the 2.5" Perrin. No problems at all. I selected the 2.5"2-Bolt Rear Flange.

If you are worried, just shoot Jesse at JDL an email, or call into the shop and they can walk you through your order.

Couldn't been happier with the setup! I'm also running the JDL Catted UEL
