2017 Toyota 86 PT546-00170 Head Unit Hack?
 

Hey guys, ive done quite a bit of searching but have not found anything yet. Is this model, or any models of head units hackable/rootable so we can flash our own apps and what not?


I would really like to be able to use Spotify or Google Maps on the head unit without having to upgrade to a whole new head unit. I have hacked/rooted other things in the past, but cannot find anything on these headunits regarding.


Any help or point in the right direction would be great!

As far as hacking or rooting....the system on these 16/17 + head units is so old and don't run on anything worthwhile.
Probably easier to get a new Head Unit or even put a tablet in your dash.

Good to know :) Ill probably be looking into a newer unit then. Im hoping there is a decent Kenwood option because I would like to eventually run Maestro so I have addition information to display.
