People buying the FR-S/BRZ in the 808, question!
 

So i know when it comes to buying cars in Hawaii, Hawaii overcharges just because of the shipping, etc!

My question is did you guys have to haggle your Scion dealers? or was the pure price honored?

NO HAGGLE AT ALL! Haha got mine for around 26k out the door. but i heard that subaru (not servco subaru) had huge mark up!! Almost double the listed price.. but it was just what i heard.

Scion and Subaru sells their vehicles at msrp no dealer mark up

Subaru just had their options pre-installed so you had no choice but to buy them.

^This. Because Servco doesn't do dealer markup and sells for MSRP, they add on things like paint-protection and tint as a markup. Well, Subaru did that, not sure about Scion.

I'm sure if you hold out, they're sell them without any addons eventually, or so I've been told.

Bought my BRZ in Hilo at MSRP, no haggle, no preinstalled "options". The dealer here is not part of Servco which is the Oahu dealer. There WAS a dealer markup sticker of $2000 on the window which I was not charged.

as of 6/1/12 when I bought FR-S, Scion had no mark up nor mandatory dealer installed option.

Servco Subaru had already done the tint/paint protection, and had their markups for that, but other than that, MSRP.
