Recommendation and sharing
Hi
So after ive tried several oils on our trans i think ive discovered one of the best if not best oil for our trans(for smoothness-maybe less for protection). im using this oil for 3years now in other cars and i brought my previous exp with this oil to this car and its definitely fits in!*ELF NFP 75W80* -All cold issues are gone. -2 to 3 gear mini grind/klunk plunk/stair/how ever anyone call it :D issue still there but has an 50% improvement and im pretty much sure once the oil will break in more it will get better. -generaly much more smoothy shifting. so if ur about to change oil soon im definitely recommending this one . *i will drain it after 2000miles and check for shavings.(OE and motul 300 had many of them) *tested in ambient temp of 16F to 47F. |
*update
as posted above in cold terms everything works as a magic. i recently noticed that oil cant work properly under heavy use(high rpm)especially the 3rd that always been poopy now is more shtty .(if it used to klunkplunk 1 out of 5 times now its 1/2 times) . next oil im gonna try is MT85 or MT90. |
is anyone know if i use an oil with 154 index oil is bad?(while most of them are 175 and up)
cst @100 is pretty high (15)so i think it will be ok at all ,isnt it? -syntrax 75w90 universal plus |
