It's supposedly a bolt on kit according GReddy via Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/GReddyFRS

The FR-S is the only car I own with a hood prop.

Why CF? Just use plastic and make it cost $10 a side.

It will be nice when someone actually has these in stock and ready for sale. Another benefit the hood shocks provide that might not be as apparent to some is observed at a car meet or show. Let's say you have your hood up and a strong gust of wind comes by. With just a prop, it can lift the hood up and off of the prop; prop falls; hood comes slamming down after the wind gust. Then there's the ease of opening the hood of course. :)

Hopefully, I'll be able to buy a set soon.

BRAWL 07-31-2012 08:11 AM

weight difference between 2 options is not that much. Only not done from factory as a cost cutting measure

Mo707 08-04-2012 02:49 PM

Anyone know when we will be able to buy?

russv 08-04-2012 06:22 PM
