Windsheild Replacement
A few months ago someone kicked something up while driving, and it hit my windsheild. It did some pretty good damage to an area about the size of a soda can. Since it has gotten cold the cracks are starting to spread. Now its starting to look like a road map. Its time to replace. Ive never had to replace a windsheild before. Is there one brand that is better the another? And where should I go to get it done, dealer? Ive heard safelite is cheap, but also that their glass is cheap. Any help would be appreciated.

I suggest you consult with your insurance company first and then get a few quotes from glass shops. humfrz |
I had mine replaced at OC Windshields Auto Glass & Tint in Anaheim,CA
was really happy with the work. I didn't pay the extra money for the factory glass but am still happy with the replacement after 3 years |
I don't know where noho is, but some states offer free replacement through your insurance. Look into it. I got a windshield replaced by Safelite and it was cheap. It looked wrong and started to get pitted up almost immediately. Find a company to do it that uses OEM glass.
I have a crack in it now, it's not growing very fast, but I need to replace it soon. |
I had also replaced it recently with OEM. Very good service by My Orange County Auto Glass Company and their staff is very nice and professional.
