production line fixes?
 
so the tail light condensation and body panel fitment issues are said to have been adressed on the assembly line, when will we see the cars that were assembled post fix start hitting the dealer lots?

chances are, you already ARE seeing those cars. Have you heard of anyone else report that problem on the forum since it was addressed? I doubt it.

the manufacture date on the door sticker will be the true indicator. if someone who recently bought theres could check it would be cool to see the manufacture date.

My taillights have been through tons of rain, haven't had any puddles or condensation in them *knocks on wood*. Body panels line up just fine.

Mine in #3690, made in 5/12

Month and year will be stamped on the door jam where the VIN is. Specific date...hmm not sure. I figure certain parts may be labeled, perhaps someone else can give a better answer.

No problem Joe. It is for the BRZ only as I know the VIN's are separate for the two cars. I'm not so sure how we could correlate the two vins. Unless you figure there's 70% toyota's, 30% Subaru's and multiply the Subaru vin by 1.7 :help:

Oh well, knowing it is May 9th is good enough for me. Mine was more than likely made towards the end of May, seeing as how I got it June 30th.

I just got my tail light fixed... Picked my car up... then found a dent in my trunk :mad0260: ... POS dealership.

i wonder how long it takes to get from production to the dealers? say i buy my car in november when do you think it would have been made?

ordered on jun 16. sticker said its made may 2012.

I guess that depends. Maybe there is a car that someone ordered but chose to back out.

right right, i was thinking more along the lines of the dealership getting the car in in november.
