Reverse lockout swap with unexpected surprise
Not sure if this is the right place for this, but I've been chasing a rattle that has been plaguing me for months.
I had given up and assumed that it was inside the dash somewhere. I bought a cheap metal reverse lockout to go with my new shift knob and after fighting with a roll pin that decided to try to eat my punch I noticed the rattle was gone. I'm hoping that this might help someone who's having the same issue, a rattle at mid to low rpm during heavy acceleration or during coasting while in gear and decelerating. Honestly I'm almost more excited about the rattle being gone than I am about the new shift knob and lockout Picture of the new shift bits too since this is a cosmetic sub forum.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...1d3a6620b7.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...065686bd8a.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...808e1dd70d.jpg Sent from my SM-G965U1 using Tapatalk |
