Just Passed my G2 TEST - FRS WAITING

Just passed my G1 Exit test (G2 test)

My FRS is waiting for me at the dealer

I can't wait!! Picking it up on Wednesday or Thursday!

So excited :P

( I must be the only moron who ordered his FRS before even having his licence. THAT'S how much I fell in love with when I saw it/test drove it :eyebulge:)

You're not the only one, how did you test drive a dealer car with no licence?

lokvo 07-30-2012 08:03 PM

Buys car, has no license = Like a Boss :party0030:

The dealer was so hung up on making the sale. He offered me to test drive it when I first went in only to check it out.

I kept making excuses to test drive it later. He would call me/email me to ask what's up and then ask me when I'm coming in for a test drive.

(I guess he figured that if I test drove it, I'd be hooked..which is what happened lol)

One day, he told me there was an Argento on the lot and and told me to come in if I wanted to see it. I said "Fine, but I have no time to test drive it "

When I was in there, I couldn't resist. And I told him I have time for a quick test drive ! I guess he got excited. I test drove the asphalt and bam,... I was signing papers :P

No I'm not! 4 years of engineering in university and savings from my co-op/internship program allowed me this honor!

I worked hard ! Graduating soon! :P Decided to gift myself in combination with my birthday gift to myself

(My parents never buy me any gifts :( /whine)

Congrats man! You deserve it. I wish an FR-S/BRZ was my first car. Mine was a 1987 Buick Century and I loved that car to death. :respekt:

Thanks ! Haha. Some people say I won't appreciate it as much because I'm not starting off with a car that isn't as good :P

Pfft! Of course you deserve. EVERYONE DESERVES AN FRS.

When I'm a millionaire someday, I'm gonna try and give away 1000 FRS OPRAH STYLE :happyanim:

I only fully appreciated the cars I paid with my own money, sweat, and blood.

Not having a driver's license while in college? :respekt: I, honestly, could not do that especially with all the events/parties/ladies that required me to drive. Lucky that you get your FRS soon. I'm still waiting on mines.

Tell me about it. I may not be one of those kids rolling around in a 100,000$ car. But I can definitely be proud of this car cause I worked for it myself!

It's not that bad actually. I did drivers ed and I'm turning 25 next year, so it won't be that bad after this year

I had a rough time before university. When I got into university, I was focussed only on making something out of my life. I didn't have the money to really go out much! But when I landed my first internship in second year uni, things started looking up! Ever since then I've been doing school for 4 months and an internship for 4 months! It's been 3 years of that now :P

No more internships after this one I'm on currently. Maybe I'll get to enjoy the last semester I have :P
