Reuse your microfiber towels? (on your paint)
Okay so i read on a few posts where people are able to reuse their microfiber towels on their paint. My mom loves that ive never done this and she has drawers and drawers filled with one time use micro. This needs to end, so how and what do you use to properly wash them?

? Washing machine. By themselves , then let air dry inside

If you use them to take off wax then poor a bit of white vinegar in the wash with them bam, good as new. This trick also makes the applicator pads good as new. Run the washer on hot/cold cycle.

Its safe for HE washing machines in case anyone is wondering after they're dried, be sure to closely inspect any paint safe towels for debris (you should do this even with brand new towels). fold them and into ziploc bags if you really want to be anal, separate your towels that have wax or sealant on them from the other ones that have just cleaning products or water based polishes. So they don't cross contaminate. |
Guess I'm alone in never having had any problems just using plain old liquid Tide?
