Square cut or angle cut exhaust tips...Is there a difference?
 

Title says it all.

Is there a difference in volume and note/tone between an exhaust with straight cut exhaust tips V angle cut tips.

My current exhaust has 5" straight cut tips that sound great but seem to boom to the point where they actually affect your eyesight with vibration when you walk behind the car.

Interested if anyone with expertise in exhausts design and fabricating can solve the matter once and for all.

it's a purely aesthetic/design choice. the overall pipe sizing, header style, midpipe style, and muffler is going to affect the sound.
