What is this part?

And what does it do?

It’s located at the bottom of the car kind of underneath the dash area. Centered but offset a little to passenger’s side. You can see it if you open the hood and look from the passenger’s side down the hole to the area?

Are you looking to take weight out of your car?

Tcoat 12-09-2018 01:19 AM

Need a better picture. Can't even tell where that is much less what it is.

extrashaky 12-09-2018 01:38 AM

That's amazing. I didn't know you could take a picture with a potato.

Welcome to our happy clan, there, Silverz -

Well, I went out to my car and looked down there, but didn't see anything like that.

It sort of looks like a greasy pivot arm off of an old Case combine (but this is the FR-S/BRZ channel - sorry.

How about orientating your picture for us - which end is up?

Is your car an AT or MT?

Yep, like said, a better picture would be helpful.

Why do you want to know what it is and what it does - ;)

Yeah, I think we're all going to need a better picture to be any help here. I don't have a clue what I'm looking at there.

I love those kinds of posts. It makes me sharpen my mind reading skills. Sadly I have to face to face with the person in order to work.
Works better if we are locked in a passionate kiss. But most people don't want to get that close. And I'm a total noob when it comes to telepathy, so. I wish I could be better help.

At those point all I can do is advise you to sell car and by a nice new Honda Civc Si or if you got the extra cash a type R.

chingadara

Mexican Spanish.

Noun cognate of the Spanish verb "chingar", which originally meant "to split lengthwise". In current usage, chingadera refers to anything for which the speaker has momentarily forgotten the word, especially things of little value or broken. Chingar may still refer poetically to splitting things lengthwise, though most Spanish speakers are now unaware of this archaic sense. Thus: "una chingadera de leñas" means either a small pile of firewood, or some quanitity of split firewood, such as a cord.

When the old lady at the Latin market dropped her weird hairy chayote squash and shouted, "Ah! Chingada!", I don't think she meant it had split lengthwise.
