i just bought one of these things for $8000. it only has 37k miles. pretty sweet, even smells like new. too bad its orange as hell but pretty sporty car. one of the best fwds ive ever driven

Congrats! I loved my Protege5. It's just too bad the engines need a lot of beefing up if you want to crank the boost.

Very rare sport compact (under 5000 made). The turbocharged engine has some Callaway magic. Nice buy. Have fun!

thanks. its a 2003, the only year they made them i think. i responded to the craigslist post within a half hour. it was an older lady who said her kids were outgrowing the backseats. i plan on keeping it stock as it will be my dd replacing the miata. hopefully i will be commuting from s. orange county to loma linda for school. the miata was not up to that challenge

Yeah thats right. I thought they did 2003 and 2004 but it was just a mid year refresh.
