Window issue. Tried reset, not successful
This morning, I had to roll my window down to take a look at crosstraffic since I didnt scrape the ice as well as I should have. When opening the window, i heard a pop and it stopped half way down so I rolled it up and down a few times until it went all the way up.
However, it does not stop at the “closed” position, it stops about 1 inch short. I tried soing the window reset (all the way down for 10 secs, all the way up for 10 seconds) and it doesnt resolve the issue. Window switches are not blinking. When I open and close the door, it moves up and down 1 inch as expected. I compared the fully down resting position between the driver and passenger side and they seem to rest at the same height. Im assuming a gear or something may have skipped but I dont know how the window mechanism actually works. Is this an easy fix? Remove door card and adjust something? Whats the issue here? Tried searching but didnt find anything that matches this scenario |

If the reset didn't work try disconnecting the battery for a couple of minutes. It may set the limit back to normal. If that doesn't work then you may indeed have snapped something.
Go to the service manual here https://demos.starbase7.net/t3Portal/ (Thanks to Ultramaroon) and then go to the sub section. It at least gives you the info to disassemble and inspect the system. |

After work I got back to my car and it seemed to have fixed itself when i opened and closed the door.
However, the window looks like it is mounted securely. When I put it down, it tilts slightly back. When I roll it up, it goes slightly forward. Im assuming an adjustment or mounting point is loose. Going to take the door card off this weekend to check |
