Did you inspect it and roll it before you gave him the cash?

FRSBRZGT86FAN 12-11-2018 02:02 AM

@Mpower318 dude you gotta answer to this thread at least, you're selling your car means you can easily dump stuff on this forum and never look back which won't bode well for you. You should at least answer some of the questions

sir
I didn't even know when this was posted, i don't ever check this section of the forum, until you @ me (thank you sir).... I didn' t ran away from this because of a used drive shaft sir.......I sold the car ....that doesn't mean that i don't reply ...
this shaft I bought from ft86club....i still have a recipe and I did offer to help him get it under warranty, but no reply since........now after 2 months his calling me a scammer........ a done wrong install also can cause this shaft to bent under hard accelerations .......... Do I become the bad dude because he posts first? yes, but no......i am not.....sir......... please check out my other post, most of the parts are from ft86 club, I can show all recipes with dates!....if I am a scammer, why would I still reply to his?

I purchased an aluminum driveshaft from Mpower318 one month ago for $300. I didnt get a chance to install it for 2 weeks. When I did, it vibrated badly above 70mph. I assumed I installed it incorrectly (even though it's pretty hard to screw up a drive shaft install!) and went about trying a different position. The yoke on the front is channeled, so it only goes in 1 way. There are 4 bolts on the rear so I tried 4 different positions, but it always vibrated badly above 70mph. Frustrated, I took it to a local shop and they confirmed that it's not straight. I contacted Mpower318 and this was his reply:

"Sir...i had no problem when i had it on my car...i didn't understand why u say is not straight... This is a good drive shaft when i sold it to u...now it is in yours hands and on your car after so many days...how you want me to be response to it after it was on your car sir? Sorry sir...the only thing i can do is help you contract the company who sold it to me..."

Bullshit...

DON'T LET IT HAPPEN TO YOU!!

sir, I felt really sorry that your drive shaft is bent, first of all, I didn't sell you a bent shaft as I said: it was perfectly straight when I had it on my frs. I didn't know how you installed, but uneven torque on the bolts or other aspects can also cause damage to your shaft under hard acceleration. should take it to a shop the first time....sir, i don't want to see you with all this hate, but I swear to god that I did not sell you a bent shaft.....please ... this type of shaft is made out of aluminum sir, I highly recommend to use a torque wrench to evenly torque all the bolts sir....i never tracked, never launched or any hard acceleration, the reason why I sold the frs is because I am getting tired of keep shifting gearing ( i had a stick shift, i didn't know the gears ratio was so close), now sir, if you want to I can e-mail ft86speedfactory where I bought the shaft from and see if they can do anything about it?

CSG Mike 12-13-2018 01:44 AM

he said she said.

Seems both sides are witholding facts.

Summerwolf 12-13-2018 08:38 AM
