2018 BRZ tS vs. Topher's Modified 2014 BRZ - POV Track Comparison
 

If you follow TheTopher on Youtube, you know he works for Winding Road Magazine and also does POV car reviews on his channel. Its good stuff. He isn't an annoying car youtuber that spends 20 minutes with the camera pointed at themselves and only offers 1 minute of actual car stuff.

He has done a few videos and gushed about his BRZ and the mods he has done, and recently had the chance to test the tS, including this video of him comparing the two on the track.

From previous videos he mentions that the 2017+ updates to the 86/BRZ basically make the car as good or better than his mods, so if you are in the market for a used twin, a 2017 might be a better starting place to start modding.

I really enjoy this guy's work. He's subtle and not obnoxious and braggadocios. I also respect he hasn't thrown a turbo or supercharger on his kit after owning his car for a while now.

I just cant wait any video related on the 86/brz on TheTopher youtube channel. He really knows how to tell the differences about stock prefacelifted 86, stock facelifted 86, and he really speaks about the point of the tS.

I cant watch this at work. What car won?

The tS. At least a second faster per lap ..

ive tried searching but is there a link to exactly what they changed on the tS? I just thought it was some gripper wheel/tires, Big wing, extra bracing.

This is what I am aware. They said that it was more complete as a package and provided more confidence to the driver.
