Complete Pulley Cover
I have plans to either modify/add onto an engine pulley cover, or create something aluminum from scratch. I know Racer X Fab was working on something years ago, I'm wondering if anyone here has concocted their own full coverage pulley shield.
Choosing to build a cover rather than just adding on another will have its challenges, but may be more fun. Certainly have noticed some nuances that will make bolting the cover on challenging. Lack of good mounting points on the lower half of the engine is the real problem I'm seeing. Any contributions or thoughts? Criticism welcome, I'm going turbo and plan to cover the pulleys from any oil spray/heat that I possibly can. |
So you are talking about a the whole front? Not just "Pastie" style covers like these?

I made the pictured covers from aluminum... gold paint is more saturated than I like... I will repaint them to look more like my Beatrush gold parts.
I also made the cover for the red intake manifold... Currently making a fiber glass version... **Check out the 86 pattern on the alternator cover** https://i.imgur.com/ekDCfJl.jpg https://i.imgur.com/vDtYc88.jpg https://i.imgur.com/YgjFYfk.jpg IG @zeal.eightsix |
Verus Engineering do one on their turbo kit. Its not the prettiest thing but it sure looks functional.
