Missing Interior Clips?
 

I removed my center console last night to install an armrest and I noticed there are two "slots" in the part that sits between the back seats that looks like it could slide into the top of the clips. There is a bracket between the back seats with 2 holes where the base of these clips might snap in. The clips I am thinking of are the green ones that hold on other interior pieces like the trim in the driver's foot well by the hood release. I looked at parts diagrams and don't see these clips pictured anywhere. Is my car missing them, or do they simply not exist?

Thanks. That's what I figured after looking at parts diagrams online last night, but I just wanted to make sure. The previous owner of this car had the center console off at least once, which made me suspect they lost the clips because it definitely looks like Subaru/Toyota thought about putting something there to help hold the center console in.
