Subwoofer help

Hello, I recently picked up my beautiful 2015 Series.Blue BRZ and unfortunately I cannot fit my current 12in Kicker CompR with vented enclosure into the trunk. Is it possible to buy a smaller vented enclosure for my 12in subwoofer that would fit without sacrificing sound quality? I'm not interested in the OEM+ subwoofer because I would rather use the stuff I have now if possible.

If you look up the sub specs it should tell you what kind of volume you need and you can compare measurements that way.

You also might have better luck in the Audio subforum

Yes.
One, you can hunt down a smaller sealed Kicker brand box.
Two, buy a generic 12" box that fits in our truck.
Three, go to any audio/stereo shop and have a custom fitted vented box.

why? 11-07-2018 09:34 AM
