BRZ Limited Black - dj_mallu

Long story short I ordered a BRZ CBS Limited on 07/01 from Competition Subaru. Dealer told me 6-8 weeks for delivery. After three weeks of waiting I called up Subaru, but they didn't have any info on my car.
So I got in to research mode and found a car at a dealer in upstate NY. www.donssubaruofutica.com its about 300 miles from where I live now.

I went to the dealer on July 21st and picked up on the same day. I paid about $250 below MSRP & got a loan for 2.9% interest rate
. Like most people I definitely did over pay. But it is worth it.

I never owned a MT car before. It is a trip, never going back to AT :burnrubber:. Everything is stock right now. I am going to baby this car for few months, then I will start with mods.

I got my car opti-coated today. http://mrsparkledetailing.com/. Bryan is great, he did an amazing job. Poor guy had to make two trips to finish the job due to rain.

That interior matches that color beautifully. Great car!

Do you mind me asking how much you paid for the opti-coat? Having trouble finding anyone that even does it, let alone a decent job + decent price around me.

I live in long island so it might be more expensive here than other places. We agreed on 400 for complete detail. Bryan was working through the rain and had to come back on a second day to do the opti-coat so I gave him few dollars extra.

Thanks for the kind words!

Definitely took me longer than expected, and that was made worse by the weather.

At the day job, and my card reader is acting up. Planning on posting some pics though.

and I hate AT also. All of my cars over the years have been manual. Including my Tacoma (you may not have noticed the stick shift). You may never go back!
