bug off!

I've never washed a car as much as my BRZ & never knew how hard it is to get bugs completely off.

Any suggestions? I've tried dryer sheets & pre-soaking - there's still always a faint residue left.

Go to any auto parts store and buy some of the commercial bug remover and use it with a soft microfiber cloth. Since this will remove any wax that was there from the factory, you should now re-wax this part. While you're at it, wax the entire car for good measure. I would suggest claying the car first to clean up the paint, and then use a good non-cleaner wax. The wax will also help your ability to remove bugs in the future.

I clayed and waxed my car before a long trip through southern Minnesota and Iowa and only needed this with a microfiber cloth to remove the bugs:

Griot's Garage Speed Shine

If the bugs are still really bad, you could try this product (its new and I have not tried it):

Bug Barricade
