Grillcraft or similar grill replacements- how do they mount?
When I got my car back from a front end accident, the grill never quite fit right and so I did a grill delete (I never liked the OEM grill anyway). But now I want a grill.
The tabs that hold the grill in are all screwed up and the tab holes are broken or wollowed out on the grill. So how do aftermarket grills mount? Do any not use the OEM tabs? |

You could buy a piece of mesh. (the style you like) and then shape, bend, cut, and glue it to your bumper after you remove it. Wouldn't really be that hard. Basic same process as in this thread... Just on a BIGGER scale. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=70815 A quick google for "car grill mesh" shows a bunch of types of mesh starting at $14... Much cheaper than the Grillcraft. Wasn't that grill $200? |
Someone on here was selling a zunsport grill. Might be the right one for you!

TY for the suggestions!

Grillcraft uses small, sheet metal type screws that are painted black...Screws into the bumper in either 3 or 4 spots...

Buy this. It's almost a perfect fit. I just did it this weekend. Just cut the top ridge off and open holes for the existing tabs.

I cut it to fit and used very small black zip ties to hold it in place. You barely see them. |
